GOD'S MOUNTAIN OF LOVE

I left the valley of darkness
to find an out-of-the-way place.
I journeyed to God's mountain
in hopes to see His holy face.
I had sought love far and wide,
but never looked beyond my pride.
Now I climb up to the peak
with all my heart I humbly seek Him.

I don't want to come down
off this mountain of God's love.
Here is where the earth below
meets heaven up above.
On the altar at the peak, I offer all I am.
I pledge my love, my life, yes, everything I can.

On the mountain in the clouds,
I've found all I could ever need.
Because of Your great love
I now know I have been freed.
No more do I walk alone
or call earth's valley my only home.
From the darkness I've seen Your light.
Your love has made my life bright again.
