An eternal moment from now
I hope to see God face to face,
but for now I'm left blinded,
surviving on His grace.
I have embraced all the pain
of the world's emptiness,
and it's left me holding so much less,
wanting more than I can have
in this world.

I know the day will come
when joy won't fade away.
And I know I'll hold His peace
for more than just a day.
